Hi, I am 42 years old married male. I have hypertension for 10 years. I have high anxiety, panic attack which lead to tachycardia many times. I have also gastric problem. I take telma H. Now doctor says to combine propranolol 40 mg. Is it safe to take both simultaneously?

If your doc feels that is the best combination drug, you should take it.
But firstly you should get treated for your panic attacks & anxiety disorder. Otherwise your BP might not be controlled.

I am a 30 year old man. I am suffering from mitral valve prolapse and mild regurgitation. You take propranolol 40 mg to treat my anxiety symptoms, shortness of breath, dizziness etc. The problem is that I have hiatal hernia in stomach also. I am facing severe shortness of breath from last 2 days and after every 2 seconds I feel" air hunger" and lack of oxygen. I'm taking long breaths from abdomen and this puts a tension or effort in my stomach muscles. Now, I took duolin levosalbutamol nebulizer solution but still not much relief. Now, please let me, what should I do? Will my propranolol interact with levosalbutamol?

People with mvps and Mr. have commonly anxiety and you might need an ssri for the same. Consulting a psychiatrist would surely help, rather than taking propanolol alone. All th best.

In 2016 I started experiencing rapid heart beat (palpitations) I havenât been diagnosed with it though. It happens spontaneously and itâs not daily or regular. Last year it got worse and frequent. Iâd be experiencing fast heartbeat for 30 mins - 120 mins sometimes, once it starts iâd be feeling my heart pounding on my chest, weakness and shortness of breath. I have this heart rate app and during the palpitations it reads above 100-121 bpm. Last year I was placed on bisoprolol in december and it had taken care of the palpitations, but I started experiencing tightness of the chest and tightness in my throat too, I still experience it till now. My history is this: I was undergoing treatment for tension headaches and was on tryptizol and propranolol before. Iâve discontinued the propranolol when I started bisoprolol and iâm still on trypitizol. Please help me.

I take shower outside home at late time then it starts happening with me that I feel unrelxaed in the room and I try to sleep out of the room and my heartbeat was high and shortness breath occurs so I visited a doctor and the doctor told me it a kind of stress/depression so he have me propranolol and some medicine for pain coz my body was suffering from pain. When that night I eat inderal (propranolol) I do not know but my head started feeling extremely heavy its been 3rd day my head is soo heavy and at night when I go for sleep I wakeup my self just after 2 hours or 3 hours and when I wake up my head is like stone it is sooo heavy and all day I feel like my mind needs sleep but I can not sleep as I wakeup by self from sleep.

I have been having the issue of anxiety for last two years. I am on paroxetine 50 mg which is an antidepressant. I also take propranolol 20 mg twice daily for anxiety. Actually I also have problem of hair fall with is genetic. And for which doctor has prescribed me "minoxidil 5% hair foam" to be applied twice daily on hair roots. 1. I read that minoxidil 5% foam has some interactions with propranolol, so can I use minoxidil foam? 2. After application of minoxidil I geel heavy- headedness for some time, will this go away in few days? Thanks a lot doctors. I am 23.

Hi,
Mitral valve prolapse is a congenital disorder having myxomatous degeneration of mitral valve.
It does not progress & you can play safely. But don't over exert yourself which will increase the heart rate & thus the valve regurgitation & thereafter the symptoms may develop.
So to summarize, you can play whatever you like.

In 1995, I took marijuana dissolved in tea. The same night I got a fear attack. One week later my heartbeat increased to 140/second. I was prescribed propranolol 40 mg. Later I began to have panic attacks. Now everything is okay. I was diagnosed with psvt. Should I continue the medications. Hope its not serious. I have no high sugar and lipid profile is okay. Please do advice. Regards.

Psvt may revert anytime specially in stress situations. You can stop medication if it reccurs than for for rfa. This is permanent solution.
