Before you stop taking the medicine you may want to run a few tests- Complete Blood Picture with emphasis on platelet counts, and Have an ultrasound of your abdomen to rule out liver or spleen enlargement. The information given is inadequate to give any opinion. I need to know following details: His TSH, T3 & T4 levels when treatment was started with Neomercazole, plus what were the symptoms. His age, weight, height, heart rate, BP, and any other related issue. Secondly when was the treatment with neomercazole was stopped? What was the TSH level at that point?
