If you are advised to take it on s.o.s basis, then it is fine. Otherwise, you can consult a nearby psychiatrist in-person and discuss regarding other alternatives for anxiety & palpitation (vilazodone or vortioxetine) which do not cause any significant sexual dysfunction.

Yes metaprolol has some trigger effect for asthmatic patient .i hope during taking prescription with your doctor you told each and everything about the medical history of your father. As I knew doctor considered all these things but if you are having doubt then ask him. Without your physician's advice do't abruptly stop taking.

I suggest do not change the medicine from metoprolol to telmistatran 40 because by this your blood pressure become elevated sir. Continue the same medication sir.
