It's not necessary that every patient gets side effects. You mentioned taking medications for 2 years. I hope by now you feel well and that you do not have symptoms of depression or anxiety. If you are maintaining well then I would suggest you slowly taper the medications under the supervision of a psychiatrist. I think, first you check your tsh and ecg, pounding of heat may not be because of amlodac. Rule out other causes first.

You should do serum sodium ,potassium and magnesium report. If normal than change the amlodac 10 mg to tab stamlo beta 25 mg (amlodipine 5 mg and metoprolol 25 mg).
