Dear Maryam, Looks like the medication has worked well for you. The side effects however may be related to the medication you are currently on. Before you stop taking the medicine you may want to run a few tests- Complete Blood Picture with emphasis on platelet counts, and Have an ultrasound of your abdomen to rule out liver or spleen enlargement. Yes you guessed it right. It is a beta blocker which is usually used as an anti-hypertensive. But, it is a drug which decreases the sympathetic hyperdrive which is a common phenomenon in any anxiety disorder.
