Hi there, I am a 25 year old (turning 26 this july) male who is otherwise healthy. About 5 days ago, I accidentally drank too much rum at home and ended up with a hangover. This is my first time really ever drinking too much as I only started consuming regular alcohol within the last 6 months since I wanted to try out whiskey and others. Before the 6 months, I had the occasional glass of wine or beer. It was sort of rare for me to drink even enough to feel different. However, this time I went too far and ended up vomiting and aching all over. The vomiting stopped by the next day and the aches ended the day after that. The issue I am concerned about is a lasting dullness in my head and mind, as well as a slight stomach ache every morning so far. My decision making and reaction times are not impacted as far as I can tell, as I can go to work and drive around the city without any issues. It's just when I focus on something that my mind feels cloudy and perhaps tight, maybe even like it is mildly spinning. As an example: I walked into walmart last night and found myself looking up at the white lights on the ceiling. I was focusing on them just fine, buy I felt like it wasn't a sharp focus as if my mind was blocked, despite being able to actually focus on the lights. I do not seem to have any issues with the functions of my focusing or thoughts as far as I can tell, it's more of a sensation that my mind feels tight. Sort of like a feeling that I wasn't focusing on it clearly despite actually doing so. Often times when I move my head rapidly, I start to get dizzy, not enough to fall over, but enough to get a little nauseous. It is not painful and it does not impact my day to day life once I shower and leave the house. It's just always there and it has me concerned that I might have done more damage than I expected. Additionally, every morning since, I have woken up with a mild stomach issue where it feels like I might vomit something up, but then I burp up some gas and the feeling goes away I have never had this before in my life in this frequency. Just last night, I tried to raise my blood sugar levels since I hadn't taken in much sugar since. Had 2 cans of pop and a package of 10 reese's peanut butter cups, followed by a litre of milk once the soda left my system. I ended up feeling some sharp pains in my stomach that came on and stopped over and over again. I notice that it gets much better after I shower and leave my apartment, but still is not bad when I return later in the day. Seems primarily when I wake up and spend time inside without going out. I do not mean to be a hypochondriac, but I find the fun I had drinking is outweighed by the morning after, so I would as soon as quit drinking entirely. I just hope to get out of this slump and get back to normal. Even yesterday, I have only had 2 cups of coffee like i've done many times before and I got some strange feelings in the stomach and was occasionally dizzy. I kept a jug of water near my bed for a couple of days to try to rehydrate myself, and I haven't really felt dry. Even right now, it feels like my mind is very tight and my focus is not as sharp as it was before. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi. Gone through your history. your condition is a typical post alcoholic binge episode. I would advice to take plenty of water and fruit juices and be rehydrated properly. Also I think the excess alcohol with voilent recthing and vomiting has caused severe gastritis and thats causing your pain abdomen. So reduce any oily, spicy food for few day. I would adive antacids and a syrup containing sucralfate with oxytocaine, 15 ml three to four times 30 min before food. U can contavt privately if need...more

This medicine (proton pump inhibitor (ppi).) will not cure problem. It only works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. The day you do not take medicine normal acid production will be there n you will have symptoms.
Do this

They can be triggered by factors such as smoking, stress, trauma, or vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
1. Irritation from poor-fitting dentures, rough fillings, or braces can aggravate canker sores and should be treated by a dentist.
2. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS): SLS, a component of most toothpastes, is a potential cause of canker sores. Try an SLS-free toothpaste for several months to see if such a change helps
3. Flossing teeth daily and b...more
