Do not use antibiotics indiscriminately. Or conect with local ophthalmologist. However you may use trifla 'phant' to clean wash the eyes. You may make 'phant' at home. In cases of colorectal cancer, diarrhoea can be a symptom at presentation. The infection has to be ruled out by doing culture sensitivity tests as it may be bacterial or fungal. Appropriate use of antibiotics is advised rather than using only a single drug for long time, this might develop a drug resistant organisms which can be controlled with only very high antibiotics with limited options and low infection control probability.
