You have otitis externa and the mild injury caused by Q tips get infected . Most people don't use Q-tips properly and wind up putting them inside their ears to feel "clean." ... Not only is ear wax good for you, but putting a Q-Tip anywhere except for the outermost parts of your ear can be a big detriment to your health

No further treatment required for decreasing titres, Also it takes lots of time for antibody titre to settle down and this is normal.

When level falls from 1: 32 to 1: 8 it means proper treatment. Now it needs 6 monthly test to confirm for 2 years to c whether it goes down or remains at same level. If detected as SEROFAST at end of 2 years one may repeat test at longer interval. "I have to suffer for this my whole life" this is not suffering.
