Yes you have to change medicine after one month of starting the medicine if there is no reduction in BP. Start walk regularly for 30 min daily. Take low fat low salt diet.

1) cresar (Telmisartan) and amlodepin are 2 different drugs. 2) Cresar is a better drug to start with. 3) Cresar H is a combination of two medicines and is more effective in BP lowering. 4) But medication alone do not help unless accompanied with lifestyle changes like daily exercise for 30-35 mins, healthy diet, salt control avoid eating high salty food like chips, namkeens, pickles, papads etc, quit smoking and drinking (if you do) 5) Also I hope your lipid profile and echo has been done, if n...more

I think, first you check your tsh and ecg, pounding of heat may not be because of amlodac. Rule out other causes first.
