Hello, thanks for the query.
I am sure there must be many brands of telmisartan 40 mg tablets available in most medical stores. So please take one of those, instead of changing to amlodepine on your own. Both are different compounds. Thanks.

Dear sir
your blood pressure medication can be reduced to a great extent with lifestyle modifications like diet .exercise and stress management. Please get in touch with me if you feel you can try these rather than any medication. Initially you will need medications but if you are persistent, slowly the medication dosage can be reduced.

CRP is considered as marker of inflamation Usually it is less than 1 g/L.If between 1 and 3 it is considered as moderately inreased risk of heart disease and if more than 3 there is high risk, But it alone is not onsidered as a risk factor for heart dissease in absene of other known risk fators like Hypertension, diabetes, smoking, inreasing age, high cholesterole, obesity, family history of heart disease.

Hi,
Yes Amtas AT is a more powerful antihypertensive than Metoprolol XL.
Amtas AT contain combination of 2 salts.
Metro XL has just a salt.
So I guess you must be having high BP even on Metro XL and that is why he changed to the new drug.
