Modern medicine does not have any particular recommendation on this but you can do so if there are no contraindications such as diseases or medicines that increase potassium levels. Taking potassium chloride will not deplete sodium if your kidneys are functioning normally. You will get sodium from several other sources anyway. Table salt is not the only source of sodium.

More than 50% of your food consumption should be in natural form. You should consume all varieties of natural food like - green leaves, raw veggies, fruits, legume sprouts, nuts & seeds.
