Hi thanks for posting your query. Well yes you need to continue all these medications lifelong. But there are combination medications like ecospirin gold ( can be used as replacement for clopilet+rozavel f ). Prolomet is an blood pressure medicine which can be reduced only if your blood pressure is under good control. Jerk in nerves indicate neuropathy-- means nerve damage. It is a complication of diabetes. I would recommend you to get nerve conduction study of your legs and revert back.

Get following blood test to get your proper diagnosis of pain. 1 blood for tc, dc, esr hb%. Aso titre, rheumatoid factors, anti ds dna serum calcium & vit d ; x-ray bony jts & fingers.

These are called stitch keloids. To shrink it crush three or four tablets and add a small amount of water to make a smooth thick paste. Apply the paste on the scar wait for dryness then rinse with water. Pat the area dry and apply olive oil. Or intralesional steroid injection to be taken.

Dear lybrate-user ji,
You hae mentioned Type 1 diabetes and you said that your sugars are controlled only on Lantuand Metformin. This is unusual in Type 1 diabetes. You’re overweight too with hypertension. You should consider using new group of drug called SGLT2i after consulting your doctor. You’ve not mentioned your sugar levels or HbA1c levels.

Hello,
the cause for numbness is not clear, by and large the medicines he is getting do not have side effect of numbness. Increase his vit b-12 tablets and see, else consult your doctor.

Hello Lybrate as you have risk factors like diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia + tmt evidence of ischemia better to go for angiogram and appropriate treatment. In angiogram we can know the amount and severity of coronary stenosis. Take care.
