It's unlikely for a small cell carcinoma of the cervix to reach the throat. It would be a good idea to do a PETCT scan to assess the extent of the disease. Small cell tumours are very aggressive and difficult to treat. If the disease is localised on petct, then surgery can be attempted.

Hello Mr. Your mother has been treated appropriately as per the guidelines. There are no medicines to avoid recurrence. She just needs to have a healthy diet, moderate exercise and most importantly a regular follow up and clinical evaluation by her treating oncologist. That is the way ca cervix is handled. Good luck!

These symptoms cant be justified for recurring of the cancer unless we examine or by doing an imaging study. It can also be due to the body's weakness of undergoing chemo radiotherapy. she might have back pain and bone due to the same. consult your doctor if the pain is intolerable

He seems to be case of metastatic ca lung. The treatment intent here is only supportive. You may give him cough suppressants like codeine syrup 2 teaspoons, thrice a day to reduce cough. But thst is not likely to improve his fight against cancer. Also was pleurodesis done, last time water was drained, otherwise it may have recollected.

Sorry to know about your mother suffering. From what I guess unable to swallow is troubling her more .For that there are options of either to insert Endoscopy guided Ryles tube (food pipe) or Esophageal Stent. If the above not possible then there is another option of doing a small surgery to insert a tube directly into the Jejunum that known as Feeding Jejunostomy. Please discuss all the options with your Oncologist for better guidance.

I presume it was treated with concurrent chemoradiation.
The cisplatin drug which is used for the chemotherapy is usually responsible for the hearing loss, which is usually temporary, but may be permanent in a few patients. Better to see your medical oncologist and a good ENT surgeon for the same.
Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.
