Hello, You have read it wrong. Option 72 is an emergency contraceptive pill levonorgestrel which needs to be taken within 72 hrs post sex to avoid pregnancy.

By contraceptive pill I hope you mean i-pill or unwanted 72 containing levonorgestrel. It is supposed to be taken after every act of unprotected intercourse within 72 hours of intercourse. So chances of pregnancy are less. However I suggest you to use other mode of contraception rather than using it frequently.

She is likely to become pregnant, because ovulation could have taken place by 14 to 16th day. 70% of sperms will be there in the pre-ejaculatory secretions. Do a urine pregnancy test, to exclude pregnancy.

Hello! There are no long term studies on the effects of multiple consumptions of levonorgestrel 1.5 over a period of time. It should be okay though as per the research at this time, but you ought to be more careful now, there are other methods of contraception too!
