A very common side effect of taking i-pill is a significant alteration in periods –they can either be early or be delayed. Most women will experience withdrawal bleeding at the scheduled or expected dates,
while some may get menses within 5 days. If you get periods earlier then expected date or on date, you can be assured that pregnancy has not taken place, but in case of delay in periods, it is best to take a pregnancy test one week over the expected date. This is largely a rare occurrence.

do don't have to repeat ipill on the same day even if you had sex multiple times. Moreover its advisable to use protection as ipill has a huge amount of hormones which can lead to hormonal imbalance in body leading to health issues. Please give a feedback if you got a satisfactory reply.

Its effectiveness depends on how soon you take the pill. It should be taken as soon as possible -- within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. When levonorgestrel is taken as directed, it can reduce the chance of pregnancy by close to 90%.

Dear lybrate-user
hi
no, I don't think that you are pregnant, your periods were late as you had bleeding after taking levonorgestrol hence the dates of of menstrual cycle has changed. You can still take a urine pregnancy test to be doubly sure.
