I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you discolored lips can be the result of a few things that range from harmless, like staining from certain foods or drinks, to an underlying medical condition. If symptoms are very minor, some people can prevent white patches from becoming obvious by not allowing their skin to tan. Treatment options for vitiligo include: low-dose corticosteroid creams, like 1-percent hydrocortisone cream. Elidel cream, a nonsteroidal formula.

Your doctor can prescribe a steroid cream to stop the itch and clear your rash, or topical creams called calcineurin inhibitors like pimecolimus (Elidel) or tacrolimus (Protopic) that protect your skin and prevent eczema outbreaks. Hydrocortisone cream is available over the counter (OTC) and eases mild itching.
