I take long standing cold as running of nose continuously for last 3 months ie since 5 months of age. I advise to consult ent specialist too specially to check nostrils. Fever may either a co-incidence or super added nose infection. In the mean time, you may try phenergan syrup 2.5 ml 2 times in a day and paracetamol syrup 0.75 ml 8 hourly. For a day or 2.

These symptoms are of common cold due to viral infection. Give paracetamol 125 mg 3 to 4 times in a day n promethazine 5 mg 2 times in a day for 2 days and instill saline nasal drop in each nostrils 3 to 4 times in a day else consult pediatrician.

Get a pregnancy test done after a week of missed menstrual date to rule out pregnancy as there is release of a hormone called - Human Chorionic Gonadatropin once female gets pregnant. (The test is done with early morning's first urine’ mid-stream).
The best way to prevent results from misleading is to follow the instructions included in the package. Of course, you should mind its expiration date. You know the kit will not function properly after that day.
