Since You are a heart patient, it is advisable for you to take medications that have least effect on the heart. Paroxetine is a SSRI, which is considered to very safe for heart patients. On the other hand Zapiz is Clonazepam which is a benzodiazepine which should be used on a short term basis. They should not be taken for more than 4 weeks as they may cause dependence. Paroxetine belongs to a group of medicines called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors the receptors fr the chemical (serotonin) are present both in your brain and stomach, hence mny a times these medicines can cause git symptoms. 25 mg is a good normal dose needed fr an adult, if symptoms ate manageable kindly continue the medice else reveiw back with your treating psychiatrist.

Hello. Pari-CR plus a medicine having combination of paroxetine & Clonazepam. Of the two paroxetine is the main drug treating your Anxiety in long run & Clonazepam is supporting drug. Panazep 12.5 mg is a combination that is 12.5 mg of paroxetine and 0.5 mg of clonazepam. If it working well for you then it is fine, however it is recommended that you change your medications if you are having excessive dizziness or drowsiness as it may be a bit high of a starting dose for you. Medicines are there to manage biochemical imbalance. Increased dependency on medication may lead to frustration. You can not discontinue medicines but make changes in your thoughts that 'only medication can help me'. Think of the alternatives which contributes a lot in reducing negativity. Your own efforts are equally important to reduce the depression. Yoga, Pranayam, meditation, relaxation and hypnotherapy works well with depression.
