Hello. I had perianal abscess which got drained in April 2014. The doctor put me on ciprofloxacin 500 mg 6 hourly and Enzomac twice in a day. After a month wound healed but there was always an opening about size of a needle head a the wound. The pus reoccurred thrice during these two years. Doctor prescribes antibiotics and sitz bath and it goes in few days. This time after 8 months there is a discharge as well. Doctor put me on satlum 375 and after 3 days it is almost 90% fine. There is just a small drop of discharge that too if I squeeze the place tightly. Doctor says it is a fistula and advised Mr. fistulogram. Can I live with it without surgery without having any complications. I fear if I do surgery there are still chances of reoccurene. It doest hurt me. There is no pain. It gets fine after antibiotics for few days and goes for 7- 8 months. It gets bad if I have constipation otherwise fine. Should I go for Mr. fistulogram. Is it painful. I fear if they inject dye it will open up the wound and surgery will become unavoidable. Presently after 3 days of medication and sitz bath I feel 100 % fine. Please advise sir.

Fistula cannot be cured by medicines. It will go on recurring. Lf you want to get rid of it permanently, then you heve to undergo surgery.

well I can say to use symptomatic treatment rather then going to consultant.lf child is eating alright playing it just need symptomatic drug like you mentioned.

lf you're not pregnant then you will have withdrawal bleeding on taking tab regesterone.
if you're pregnant then tab regesterone will have no effect

Hi, I am trying to get pregnant, my cycle changed to 45 days from last year.(had abortion and used norvelo pills many times). I have been on fertillion f drugs for 30 days and duphaston 10 mg for 5 days. Now its 18 days after stopping duphaston but still no period and pregnant test is negative. Kindly tell me what is happening.

Pamela just check if you have pcod. It can cause delay in periods. Lf not then you could have delayed ovulation it could give a late pregnancy test positive.

Hello doctor I am having muscle twitching/spasm all over the body randomly anywhere all the time throughout the day. I did got vit d3 and calcium tests done. Vitamin - d3 = 22. 48 mg/dl and calcium is 10.4. I took v total for a month (jan-feb) and neurobion forte also for same timeline and vitamin d3 60k once a week for 3 months (jan-fab-march). At that time I was falling sick quite often so I was given these. Now suddenly these twitches have begun. Please help me why they are having as my vitamin tests all I did (cbc lft etc) all are completely normal. Please help me.

It could be hereditary.
It could be due to thyroid problems it could be due to electrolytes imbalance.
It could be due to anxiety as well.
It could also be idiopathic that is there is no plausable explanation for some lf these cases.
Do contact for diagnosis and treatment.

Birthweight usually doubles by 5 months. As he was a premature baby his weight gain is more than adequate. Lf you are breastfeeding it's fine otherwise you can feed him top feeds around 150ml once in 3 -4 hours.

It's too early to stop breastfeeding. You should continue at least till the age of 2 years. Lf you want to stop due to genuine reason it should be gradual.
