Good afternoon. Persol (benzoyl peroxide) 2.5% gel works as an anti acne agent. As the acne settles down, so will the red marks. Acne can leave behind brown pigmentation. These will require additional creams/gels to treat and fade over time. To hasten their exit, certain procedures carried out by a professional dermatologist can be tried such as chemical peeling, laser treatment etc.
