Asked for Female, 23 years old from Hyderabad

Hiccups since 7 days. Cough since 7 days. My dad went to shabarimala place where he climbed a hill of 7-8 kms, he is a cardiac patient and he is operated with stent 3 years back. He is diabetic since 8 yrs. After coming from shabarimala he had fever with chills and that day hiccups lasted for 1-2 hrs only. From next day he is having continuous hiccups. For which we consulted cardiologist and also gastroenterologist. They conducted all tests and all r normal. We have taken pantoprazole (other related drugs) and other drugs like sucralfate and baclofen for 3 days but no relief. So he had given perinorm oral evn then no relief. And for cough he was given clavam 625 and ascoril LS. Evn after 7 doses of clavam cough was subsiding. So pulmonologist changed the drug. He gave doxycycline (doxtyl) and deletus -D and also nebulization with levolin and budecort since 2 days. After starting doxycycline he had motions watery in consistency, for which he was given metrogyl 400 mg tid and redotil BD and sporlac tid. Not under standing wat to do.

Please Ask him to take deep inspiration, hold for few seconds, release slowly. Do it repeatedly, it will help to stop hiccups. Give Tab Dompan SR 5

Hi, my wife is pregnant (8 weeks running) she is 21 years. I want to know about at this time can she use "garner light complete serum cream" daily? Her skin is dry and fair. She wants a cream that will not darken her skin. Though garner mentioned it is dermatological tested, but is there any ingredients that can be harmful? If it is not suitable, can you please suggest a pregnancy-safe cream? 1) during pregnancy darkening happens because of hormonal changes and one can not prevent and should not hormonal changes.
2) with so many ingredients no one can give scientific answer as no such scientific studies exist still confirm with skin specialist.

My son is 5 weeks 4 days old. Born with a birth weight of 2.6 kg and current weight 3.3 kg. My son is continuously breastfeeding for 2 hrs at a stretch yet he remain hungry. After initial meconium for 2 days he passes stool at every 2-3 day interval. Now d stool is yellow mustard in colour and smelly. He has 6-10 wet diaper everyday. As my son always remained unsatisfied with my milk I introduced nanpro1 on day 9 once a day which was made twice a day from day 15. Now he takes 2 times upper feed sometimes 3.my son is active but when I take him off my breast after 2 hrs and keep on bed he gets up in 10 mins and starts sticking his tongue out and then starts crying n if I prepare number in 15 mins and gv .he happily gulps down 60- 90 ml. Do you think I have low supply issues or wrong latching issue. D dosage of nanpro1 is to b increased or not. When I pump I get 30 ml from both breast. Wat can b done to improve supply. Currently taking perinorm from last two weeks n lactare powder.

We recommend breastfeed for 20 -30 minutes. Hence it seems either he is not sucking properly. Please take weight before and after breastfeed to find his sucking ability. Feeding in neonates is almost every hourly in day time but for 10-15 minutes.

Hiccups could be due to multiple causes. If ultrasound is okay please get endoscopy done too look for any oesophageal infection. Take tablet Perinorm twice a day for 3 days. It will help.
