If you are talking about ondansateron yes you can take it for stopping vomiting. Though other medicines could also be used like perinorm, etc. It has best results in stopping vomiting hence used widely.

You have to take medicines like perinorm for the intestinal motility to be regularised and take timely foods and avoid spices and alcohol and smoking.

Stop gelusil
Tab Rabeprazole 20mg once daily (morning/empty stomach) for three weeks
syrup Sucralfate 3 tsp 10minutes before meals)for 10days
Tablet metoclopramide 10mg once daily for 3days
Avoid spices, tea, coffee,smoking
take meals at time. Don't do fasting

If not resolved in three days:--
Seek some medicine specialist help

You can take tablet reglan (metoclopramide) 10 mg 1-0-1 for 3 days. Take lots of water and fluids. Take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Avoid garlic and red chilly and non veg and eggs. Do meditation for mental strength.

You should take normal healthy home made food. Feed the child more frequentally if child is less than 5 months. Drugs may be helpful in some ladies in beginning, drugs like perinorm increases output.
