Yes you are right, this drug is mainly given for arthritis related problem.Don't think so it was indicated in this condition.Instead of this an antibiotic course would have been better along with simpler analgesics.

Apart from taking symptomatic treatment like for pain take tablet paracetamol and also get your blood checked for cbc mp widal.

take proper diet and water intake. For the medicine part, take ferrum phos 6x along with five phos 6x. Take 4 tabs from each 4 times a day in half cup of lukewarm water. Please revert after 2 days.
