The tetanus toxoid (tt) vaccine is given during your pregnancy to prevent the risk of tetanus to you as well as your unborn baby. Tetanus is a life-threatening bacterial disease that is caused by the toxin of a bacterium called clostridium tetani. Tetanus bacteria enter the body through an open wound.

Follow your doctor's advice, it is fine. He has appropriately given pentavac at 6 wks and quadrovax at 10 weeks. Difference is because of hepatitis b. It is to be given at birth, 1, 6 months. So your doctor has given 2nd dose of hep b at 6weeks (pentavac contains hep b). At 10 weeks hep b was not given as per schedule (quadrovax doesn't contain hep b) rotateq ok if earlier one not available.

You will need to apply local oint as an antiseptic like tbact oint twice a day for one week and some oral antibiotics as well. Frequent dressing are required with cleaning atleast twice a day. If tetanus toxoid hasn't been taken, then take that too.
