-It is ok to take flu shot vaccine to prevent flu
-also you should build your immunity by having a well balanced, nutritious diet including more of fruits & vegetables including green leafy & seasonal ones, also have a teaspoon of honey & a glass of milk with half teaspoon of turmeric mixed in it at least twice a day
-also do regular exercise & yoga , deep breathing which is good for your problem

The vaccine is given generally to less than 2 years old child and adults more than 65 years old. It is not required for others unless some chronic disease occurs.
