In my experience shampoos doesn't have major role in controlling hair fall. Figure out if you any other abnormalities. At your age following might the causes.
1. Poor or lack of nutrition.
2. Recent illness like fever and continuous medications.
3. Poor habits and lifestyles like less sleeping hours, stress, digestion problems.
4. Hormonal 5. Environmental or chemical
sort out which one of the above suits you. Accordingly we can treat.

No it is safe to avoid. Regarding online consultation there are certain points which all should know and follow the description of the diseases should be complete in all respects, including any tests done and any medicines already taking. Just saying I have diabetes since 10 years and taking metformin or I have thyroid disease, cannot help a discerning doctor give a scientific advice.

Shampoos are prepared to wash your hair and removal of oils, dirt, dandruff, environmental pollutants and other contaminant particles from your scalp. However most people blame the shampoo when they notice hair loss or thinning. Remember that hair loss is not a single day process and actual mechanism starts 3-4 months before it comes out. The hair you find in your drain were already weak and ready to come out when you began shampooing.
