Hello, Calcium is abundantly available in natural food sources. The more naturally existing foods you take the better. Calcium supplements are firstly not fully absorbed by the body and in long run usage it has the tendency to give kidney stones. Dark green vegetables, low fat dairy, moringa, nuts, finger millet are some excellent sources of calcium and magnesium (which is very important for calcium absorption). Simultaneously, take care of your vitamin D as well.

Take good amount of milk and milk products, ragi, sesame seeds and green vegetables to get calcium and take enough vitamin D for its absorption. Excess of calcium leads to kidney stone and weakning of bones also.

Norma level of vit d is between between 20-50ng/ml. A level less than 20 ng/ml indicates vitamin d deficiency. Vitamin d3 is essential for healthy bone, teeth, muscle, cell growth, immunity, neuro muscular functioning and overall health. Deficiency causes ricket/osteomalacia, poor hair growth, increased risk of cancer. Treatment-vitamin d3 60, 000 unit/wk for 3 -6months

I have pain in both hands (3 inches above and below the elbows) and legs (5 inches above and below the knees). Not bone pain as I feel good if I try to restrict my blood flow. I always wear knee and elbow caps for pain relief. As far I remember i'm suffering from this pain for almost 13-14 years. Currently, i'm 20 years, i'm was being told it was due to the growing stage. Earlier I had vitamin d level 7 but now it is 30 but still, the pain is not gone. I have pain almost daily, I will feel lucky I don't have pain that particular day. If I walk for long or stand or play, or do something intense then the intensity of the pain will be unbearable sometimes due to pain I can't even sleep at night. In my test report, I have everything normal. Tests I have done so far are aso titre, anti-nuclear, cpr, hla b profile, anti-ccp, phosphorus, cpk, uric acid, calcium, glucose, vitamin d  and b-12, ths, cbc, alkaline phosphate, potassium, ldh, magnesium.
