In case of fever follow health advises given below:

Measure your temperature

1. Avoid exertion

2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (If No Drug Allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days

3. Lot of fluids to be taken

4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc.

Hi lybrate-user since your wife is allergic to certain medicaion it will serve her better if she takes any medicine only after consultation from a doctor. It would be better if she gets a very small test dose administered before taking the full dose. This would prevent full blown allergic reactions in future. No, paracetamol is enough for a small child, never to use two same drug group at once.
Do tap-water sponging to lower the fever.
Consult a doctor and start some antibiotics if any other issues are also there.

Hi Aarti.. for your knowledge paracetamol will never cure fever... it will just bring the temperature down for few hours... and my advise is not to take any medicine without consulting a doctor...
As for example paracetamol causes damage to liver...

So better consult and take proper treatment.

The best medicine is one which is prescribed after proper diagnosis and proper consultation....

paracetamol is just to reduce temperature.. it iwll never cure it... and has many side effects if taken too often without prescription...

1.Get Complete blood test done. Consult physician clinically.
2.Take light diet and drink plenty of water and fluids.
3.Boil 4-5 basil leaves, 2-3 black pepper seeds, a small pieces of ginger and 1 pinch dalchini powder for 5 min.. let it cool down add 1 tsf honey in it and drink it sip by sip it will help to cure fever.

if you take 2 paracetamol tabs , it will weaken your immune system and cause acidity. also it can affect any of your body parts may be liver, kidney or lungs.
instead take turmeric with hot milk a natural painkiller.

take crocin pain relief one sos if headache is severe, check your eyes. check your BP. Take rest and good sleep. avoid stress. inform if not ok.

I would suggest you to - take paracetamol 650 mg for headache as well as fever.
If there r any associated complaints eg cough, cold, jt pains, vomittings, acidity, urinary complaints. Medications might be required.
If cold, take steam inhalation.
Drink plenty of liquids take adequate rest if required, consult.
