Dear Ankit,
You are right Ankit. Nicotine in cigarettes also act on the nervous system like those tablets you are taking. Together, they interact in different ways on your brain. Why don't you try and stop smoking so that the drugs can be given in proper effective dose? Stopping smoking, has other medical health benefits too.

Dear User,

We call it a "stressor- a situation which makes you feel stressed" If you had a stressor in past and developed the symptoms then there are chances that you may have symptoms again with a stressor either similar or different. It is like developing malaria after mosquito bite. You could not prevent yourself from mosquito bite and not all the mosquito bites cause you malaria, but on...more

Anxiety is an emotion characterized by an unpleasant state of inner turmoil, often accompanied by nervous behavior. It’s a state of mind where you want to just run and keep on running. The ‘to’ and ‘from’ about the running remains unknown. It is difficult to cope with anxiety because of it’s physical non-existence. But there are a few things which I do, in order to cope with it.
I clean. Yes, I clean up my desk, my almirah, my bedroom and sometimes the entire house depen...more

Dear lybrate-user
Paxil is a very useful medication for a number of anxiety and mood complaints which may also cause physical symptoms.
Could you please tell your symptoms, mood, thoughts, sleep and appetite patterns in detail.
Also, you will be relieved to know that 12. 5 mg is a tiny dose and even otherwise it is unlikely to be addictive.
