as long as the chemical formulation is the same the efficacy should be similar. however, variations in efficacy between brands are also reported despite the same formulation perhaps due to reasons of manufacturing method. at the next review please discuss this issue with the prescribing doctor to compare the 2 brands and choose one.

Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc are signs of anxiety. These can be debilitating. If the anxiety us overwhelming, consult a psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve. Other than that, try yoga, deep breathing, meditation, moderate exercise, progressive muscular relaxation and guided meditation.

If xet cr (paroxetine) is not working, other alternatives are there. You need to consult your psychiatrist and consider alternate medications, also combining with cognitive behavioral therapy would help. Good luck.

Hello lybrate-user,
I hope that Paroxetine (Pari CR) and clonazepam (lonazep) were taken with medical advice and guidance. Please seek a consultation with your Psychiatrist to resolve your query. However it seems that weakness, anxiety, and crying spells are related to depression rathee than clonazepam withdrawal. However a more gradual tapering of clonazepam would be recommended. Optimization of Paroxetine dose under medical guidance, along with psychological intervention is advisable. Asse...more
