Asked for female, 43 years old from Delhi

4 days back I developed pain in shoulder (torso). Here is details of my condition 12th April 2016: Shoulder pain started at 3pm. At 7pm I checked fever it was 99.1 which continued till morning of 13th April. 13th April 2016: Shoulder pain continued through day. Fever at 9am was 99.3. Took medicine crocin (paracetamol) at 9am. Fever dropped after an hour. Developed two boils (transparent in colour) one on left side of shoulder and other one on left side of wrist. At 8pm fever was back and was 102. Took medicine Crocin (Paracetamol) at 9: 30pm, Took levo Cetirizine 5mg at 10pm, took Ranitidine 150mg at 10: 30pm, took Fever dropped within couple of hours had no fever till 4pm of 14th April 2016.14th April 2016: Shoulder pain continued through day. Fever at 4pm was 100. Took medicine crocin (paracetamol) at 4pm. Fever dropped after an hour. Developed lot of boils all over body (above thigh) (transparent in colour). Developed sore throat in the afternoon. Had 100 fever and backpain throughout night. Had pain in eyes. 15th April 2016: Shoulder pain, pain in eyes and backpain continues in the morning as I am writing this mail. Body temperature (fever) is normal. Have taken no medicine since 4pm of 14th April.

Take amritarista 20ml after meal twice a day and septilin syp 2 spoon twice a day. It will help you to reduce fever as well as improve immunity.

You have viral fever where normally medicine does not act positively on virus. You can take paracetamol or calpol as and when required do regular warm saline gargle. Have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection.

My question is about my daughter, now she is 3 year 3 month old, yesterday she was good but by evening suddenly she suffer from fever & her body temperature increase up to 104.6 F in just half an hour. After giving medicine paracetamol (crocin) & bath with cold water. Her temperature decrease up to 99 to 100F in 3 /4 hour times. Now she is fine. I want to know the reason for such fever which come suddenly with high temperature to normal kids.

It is not clear whether temp remained 99 to 100 or it has come to normal and for how long it remained normal. Watch now how long hours/ days temp remains normal. There are many resons for fever which is beyond the scope over here to mention.

My sister gets severe headache every other day. It happens for no apparent reason and lasts for hours. She experiences intense pain in the back of her head, sides of skull, neck, shoulder blades and upper back. Her forehead hurts too but not as much. She also feels very nauseous during these headaches. The only thing that helps is painkillers (½ combiflam tablet) and a few times paracetamol (crocin) and nothing else. Can you tell us why these headaches happens so frequently and how we can avoid it? And if not that, then how can we remedy it without medicines, that is, naturally or through ayurvedic medicines? Hi, I have fever. Fever started yesterday afternoon. I took one crocin yesterday. Today when I got up in the morning, I still have fever and stomach cramps. I have cold and flem. No cough. I have slight back pain and also slight headache. I took 1 paracetamol along with a vitamin tab in the morning after breakfast. Take sanjeevani ras vati twice a day with warm water. Take pranacharya jwar nigraha capsule and punarnavadi mandoor 1-1 twice a day with warm water. Avoid salt as more as possible. Drink luke warm water. Wipe your body with clean towel.

The exact cause of one day old fever is very difficult to find. Respiratory tract infection especially upper may be possible cause. WIDAL takes 1 week to be positive. Continue Cefixime and Paracetamol. Consult doctor if no relief after 4-5 days.

Now after 2 hours she has stopped feeling cold and is breaking a sweat and temp in coming down slowly. My doctor asked me to give her 1 spoon of ibugesic. The ibugesic plus is for kids, will it work on her? Is it safe to give ibugesic plus within 2.5 hours of paracetamol?

Health Query

My neck is very slightly swollen and painful. Past 5 days had fever which didn't subside and kept coming back even after taking crocin and dolo. Only paracetamol worked. My local doc gave a small bottle of thyroid tablets long back. But I've not been regular with the usage. And also forgot the name now. What tablets can be used for Hypothyroidism?

First of all check thyroid function test, only then medicines can be advised. Such medicine's dose depends on your Thyroid level, symptoms, age etc.
