I was fall down on the road due to the stone infront of me so my leg was paining to much I have consulted many doctors they gave only tablets namely paracetamol, reactin continuously then I visited another doctor he gave ranitidine, diclofenac tablet and an ointment volini it also doesn't work give me a solution.

I am suffering from Rheumatoid arthritis and my doctor has given few medicines which also includes calpol 500 mg. The doctor has told me to take a tablet when I sense pain. Would it be wise to continue with this medicine as we know that paracetamols can cause more harm than good? The problem is that I regularly sense pain but hesitate before taking this medicine. Do a ultrasound to see if pregnancy is in uterys or not. Itcan be outside that is dangerous condition.

Dear sir/mam, I had a vaccination yesterday and from the mid night I got the fever (101-102). I took calpol (paracetamol) 650 mg 3-4 times but temperature not going beyond 101 degree. I also tried for cool water patti on my head temperature will become down but not be normal. Please suggest if there is any medicine. Thanks.

water sponges should be done with normal water, not cold water. Continue the same medicine. If symptoms persist then please go for covid test. You can consult me online for further queries if you want to.

If she can take tablet you can give her 1/2 (half) tablet. But with 102 Fever get her blood and urine test done.

Health Query

After taking vaccination for rabies abhayrab (first doze). I have slight fever and body pain. I am also suffering from running nose and cough, I am advised to take lcz cold caffeine, augmentin duo amoxilli or d cold 650 or combiflam. Can I take paracetamol instead of all this. If yes for how many days. And do I need an antibiotic as well.

Paracetamol just reduces the body temperature for few hours and have no effect on bacteria or virus.
Better take treatment as suggested.

Hello I was having fever with strong body pain and no other symptoms It started with itching in the nose and sneezing on Friday night The next day I was having high fever of 102.4 degree fahrenheit I approached to my doctor and he gave me certain medicines and blood test to be done. He had asked for cbc, urine and dengue tests. Which all have come normal. He gave me 1 paracetamol tablet and one antibiotic The paracetamol tablet is calpol 500 and the antibiotic tablet is levoflox 500 I am taking this medicines since 2 to 3 days and there is no improvement. One each in morning after breakfast. One Paracetamol in after lunch. One each after dinner Still my body ache hasn't decreased and I feel cold and feverish once the medicines effect is gone. I have headaches. I also read somewhere on the Internet that levoflox 500 should be consumed only once a day for 500 power where as my doctor has asked me to take twice a day morning and in the evening Please guide me if am being treated normally. Thanks in advance for your consultation.
