Hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy, but this will give you temporary relief from pain. You need to visit a dentist and get it checked. Get an x-ray done. If there is a cavity, get it filled. If there is infection to the roots of the tooth, you need to get it treated.

Tooth pain could be due to various reasons, the most common being dental caries that forms a cavity within the tooth exposing the underlying nerve.
