These medicines should never be taken continuously over a long period of time as it will increase chances of infections and iron deficiency. It is essential to eliminate the main cause of your problems instead of taking antacids continuously. Pantoprazole has no interaction with alcohol, but ranitidine increases blood alcohol levels. If needed you can have an online consult with me regarding proper treatment plan in your case.

Yes. I would suggest you to continue following the doctor's advice. Avoid large meals, spicy/oily/fried foods. Take meals a few hours before bed time. Mild to moderate excercise/walking after meals could help. Also, if you have had this problem for long, revisit your doctor as he might want to get an upper gi endoscopy done.

Most likely she might be having something known as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) which occurs due to stress. Stress can cause loss of appetite alongwith diarrhea. Start her on Pantop-L (Pantoprazole with Levosulpride) not Pantop-D daily in morning fasting state for 10 days and inform me in 10 days.
