Home > Treating tuberculosis (TB) > Dear doctor I have uncontrollable hiccups from past 8 months. I have take already liofen, ayurvedic medicine etc but not stopped. It is serious condition. It start the day until 3 days while started same time it is stopped after 3 days. 10 months back I suffered from TB. That was cured. But hiccups, nausea not stopped please give me proper answer to me. I am very suffer from this. I can not talk, can not properly breathe, can not sleep 24 to 72 hours every seconds its not stopped. 26 years male from Bangalore asked Dear doctor I have uncontrollable hiccups from past 8 months. I have take already liofen, ayurvedic medicine etc but not stopped. It is serious condition. It start the day until 3 days while started same time it is stopped after 3 days. 10 months back I suffered from TB. That was cured. But hiccups, nausea not stopped please give me proper answer to me. I am very suffer from this. I can not talk, can not properly breathe, can not sleep 24 to 72 hours every seconds its not stopped. Sir you told meet gastroenterologist, he given baclofen tablet but not cured. For tb pulmonologist, physician, ayurvedic doctors also consulted. Ct scan, cbc, lft, rft, hba1c, usg, xray chest, ecg all done, report is normal. What can I do now, idont know.

You can take tab Baclofen 10mg after food and relax.
Try yoga/ meditation and breathing /pranayama and Change your attitude to stressor.

Yes a schizophrenia/BPAD patient can take Baclofen. Duration of treatment depends on the indication/for which condition you are using it. yes it can be taken with divaa od.

Although there is no perfect drug for treating hiccups ,hold your breath for few seconds and drinking water might help. If your hiccups is still not controlling you can use tab baclofen. You can consult me using my code ps636e.

Pain in that reason most commonly is because of some intestinal infection, which should subside in a few days. If you have fever and vomiting, it could be appendicitis. Other cause which can cause pain there is kidney stones. If the pain is very severe and persisting, it is better to get an ultrasound done.

yes definitely
gabapin can be taken upto a lot more dose than you're taking.
Please increase the dose if needed. If you feel any dizziness thats when you stop increasing the dose. Every body tolerates it differently
I usually start with 100 mg once and raise it to 450 mg thrice as and how the patient tolerates

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor (gastroenterologist) and to confirm do an (ENDOSCOPY).
