How high is her bp. For very high bp we do recommend taking multiple combination drugs than a single drug.

Measure bp only once every month on fixed dates after resting for 10 mins. Bp rises during activity, stress, etc. Sometimes meeting a Dr. increases bp. Specially when meeting new Dr. for first time. Both medicines are bp medicines, both are mild doses, but they are different types.

Yes cresar h is known to cause excess urination and amlodepine is known to cause ankle swelling. There are many alternatives to these medicines. If she doesn't have too much urine trouble with cresar h then continue the same otherwise consult online for prescription.

Do you have diabetes also, if yes then telday is the best option, otherwise either drugs are good. It is my suggestion that you start with half tablet and then go to full dose while monitoring your bp.
