Your yeast infection may not be due to your medication. Homeopathy has durable treatment for your skin ailment. No side effects. Maintain proper personal hygiene and wear cotton loose garments as the accumulated sweat is harmful. Don't scratch. Ointments/lotions give temporary relief. Hello. Your cousin's symptoms can be explained by the diabetic medications. Oxra causes weight loss, upto 2-4 kg on an average, though it can cause more weight loss also. However it is better to rule out other causes of weight loss and loss of appetite before attributing them to medicines. Kindly consult you doctor and get evaluated properly. Thank you.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Both the drugs have similar mode of action, however, if the particular physician has recommended a particular compound it is better to get is opinion before changing the prescription. Thanks.

Mr Tanmay Ghosh, Thanks for the query.

SInce there is no other information given about weight, height, diet pattern or extent of daily exercise, it is difficult to either predict anything or give an opinion.
In treatment of diabetes, drugs play some part, but major part is pla...more

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
Hello, to give an opinion on whether sglt-2 inhibitor will be helpful to you, or not I need to know quite a few things like serum creatinine, weight, height, egfr, diet pattern and extent of daily exercise & hba1c%.
