Hello Lybrate user. As you told that you r different from anxiety and you were on paroxetene 25 mg ans clonazepam 0.25 in whole day. It is basic treatment of anxiety which I also give to my patients. As you have told that you felt stiffness in body as went to the treating doctor again, why he decreased the dose is best known to him only. How long the medication will continue depends upon why you are taking them and what is the severity of your symptoms. Usually the anti depressants are taken for at least 6 months and then it has to be continued depending on your response to medications. If you are suffering from side effects please consult psychiatrist who can adjust the dose or change the medication. Thanks

Anxiety has all to do with fear and your inability (or so you would tend to think) to handle the same. Paroxetine belongs to a group of medicines called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors the receptors fr the chemical (serotonin) are present both in your brain and stomach, hence mny a times these medicines can cause git symptoms. 25 mg is a good normal dose needed fr an adult, if symptoms ate manageable kindly continue the medice else reveiw back with your treating psychiatrist.

Hello. Pari-CR plus a medicine having combination of paroxetine & Clonazepam. Of the two paroxetine is the main drug treating your Anxiety in long run & Clonazepam is supporting drug.
