As such it is safe for him to take that.
But as his age is quite young, please ask the consultant to reduce it dose on the basis of improvement.
Or else on the other side you can start Homoeopathic treatment side-by side so that, it can be cured sooner by both medications.
And I would prefer that those allopathic medicines should be stopped in tappering manner not suddenly.
Still if you have any query, please let me know.

I think you are taking it for epilepsy... convulsion..
Usually it needs to be taken for 3 years.. if in case you have convulsion during this time then again for 3 years...
You may consider taking homoeopathic treatment for permanent cure..

Hello,
it is not clear that whether you were taking medicine when the child was in utero, if the baby is born and is healthy then there is no problem. All antiepileptic drugs have a small chance of in utero damage but epilepsy itself can cause damage to the foetus so generally a low dose to control seizures is used during pregnancy.

Dear lybrate-user, you are currently taking two antipsychotics, an antidepressant, a mood stabilizer and a long acting antipsychotic. In long term these tablets are going to harm your metabolic system and you will develop weight gain and higher chances of getting coronary artery disease. My request is you better consult with your psychaitrist and please consider going for cognitive behaviour theraphy.
