You can replace the doze of selzic od with oxetol and both are same drug Oxcarbazepine whereas the Oxetol 150 is half strength. You have to take 2 tablets to match the dose of Selzic OD 300 . When you change tablets you must reduce dose of selzic OD by half

oxetol (oxcarbazepine) is one of the medication used for bipolar disorder, but we usually avoid during pregnancy. It can be associated with teratogenic effects. Dear, oxetol contains the active ingredient oxcarbazepine, which is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer. There are many long term side effects and you can read them on cims website. Regarding memory, there are nothing significant. Still you may consult your doctor for further advise. Take care.

Yes you can donate blood to all except pregnant lady if you are free of hiv and other blood borne illness. Your blood may contain high level of this drug oxeteol (oxcarbazapine) that may harm the foetus and may also cause congenital defect if given to a pregnant lady.
