If your problem was due to something wrong in body, it was best treated with medicines. No relief means it is related to underlying psychological problems.
Seek help from a psychologist to identify your problem and get a permanent resolution.

Every medicine has some or other side effect. It depends on what benefit you obtain vis a vis the side effects. Pregabalin is regularly prescribed in lumbar canal stenosis and had a good track record. Oxcarbamezepine is infrequently used, in comparison in lumbar canal stenosis cases. Both can be used and the predominant side effects of both is sedation. They can be started and stopped if side effects are bothersome.

First consult Neuro-physician inform that you are on Maxetol and planning pregnancy then follow his/her advise. Remember Pregnancy is possible only on one day of cycle, day of ovulation when ovum is released from ovary of woman. That is why couple should have 12 to 24 cycles of unprotected sex around time of ovulation before going to Gynecologist or infertility specialist for further evaluation and advise.
