No, I do not think so, ofloxacin is not know to cause gynecomastia. Besides for an adult its only half the dose. And even if so any medicine causing it once withdrawn the effect gets reversed in the majority.

Dear Lybrate user, it is not advised to take any medicine for your infection without consulting with a doctor. He will examine your infection and only then medicine can be prescribed. Meanwhil, clobetasol is a steroid that will only suppress the symptoms and not cure the disease.

It is not safe to use ofloxacin for longer eriond. It may also help the sore throat as an antibiotic. However it is not specific for throat infection. After giving oflox for two days, let me know the progress. I shall suggest better antibiotic. Anyway for the time being, for pain give meftal syrup 5 ml thrice. Reply with your city. It is necessary to know your place ( weather there) take care.
