Implantation happens when a fertilized egg embeds in the lining of the uterus. This marks the beginning of pregnancy. Some people notice spotting shortly after implantation. However, the body does not begin producing the pregnancy hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hcg) until after implantation.

If you have irregular period or are not sure when you ovulated, you can do a URINE HOME PREGNANCY TEST 14 days after you last had unprotected sex. However for accuracy of result, it is recommended to do the test 21 days after intercourse. To TEST PREGNANCY AT HOME simply add urine to a small piece of soap,...more

Dear lybrate-user. Thanks for the question. The hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (better known as hCG) is produced during pregnancy. It is made by cells formed in the placenta, which nourishes the egg after it has been fertilized and becomes attached to the uterine wall. Levels can first be detected by a blood test about 11 days after. The results from an ultrasound after 5 -6 weeks gestation are much more accurate than using hCG numbers. An hCG level of less than 5 mIU/mL is considered nega...more

Human chorionic gonadotropin, which is the primary constituent of Lupi-Hcg 5000 IU Injection, is obtained from the placental cells of pregnant women and is used to treat infertility in women and men. It is also used to treat delayed puberty issues in children. Use of this medicine in pregnant women is not recommended. Talk to your gynecologist regarding this. Take care.

A urine pregnancy test looks for a hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) that is found in the urine during pregnancy. Having your period during the test should not interfere with the accuracy of these results. Within about 2 weeks after conception, there is enough of this hormone to show up in the urine.

It is negative and you r not pregnant. Menses can be missed by hormonal changes or stress also. It also depends when this test is done. If you have missed the period and then you did it then you r not pregnant and if it is done before the menses due date then you need to do urine test 1 weeks after missed period.

When a woman is pregnant, she produces high levels of a hormone called beta human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). But if there is no baby, the elevated HCG levels can be a sign of a rare form of cancer called a gestational trophoblastic tumor. ... Doctors diagnosed her with cancer, and she began chemotherapy immediately.

After receiving an injection of human chorionic gonadotropin, ovulation can occur between 24-48 hours, with the average time being within 36 hours. Ovulating as early as 24 hours is less likely, however, it can happen and couples should be prepared.

Hi,
when a woman has experienced missed abortion previously and is now pregnant, we do give some extra medicines in the form of tablets and injections. They are usually supplements of pregnancy hormones and safe in pregnancy. However you may discuss with your gynecologist again for the duration of which they are required. Good luck.
