Hello Lybrate user,
As you mentioned, your wife had periods after intercourse, there are no chances of pregnancy. But you should use barrier method (condoms) and try to avoid tablets in future as frequent use of emergency pills may prove dangerous to her health. Take Care.

PCOD is a disease where there is hormonal imbalance. Depending on your complaints, examination, reports and stage of life treatment differs and it also needs more time so get yourself treated with patience. Meet Gynecologist in whom you have trust as you will need to go for long time to him/her. Overweight is very common so in case you have that reduction of weight helps tremendously.

To clear your doubts I will suggest you to get your urine checked for pregnancy and follow up with reports for further guidance and if it is negative then wait for the periods to come on its own.

Ovral G is also a contraceptive drug in a higher dose. It helps to regulate the periods and amt of bloodloss at periods. Has no relevant role in reduction in the size of a fibroid.

Dear lybrate-user. ABORTIONS can be performed as early as an intra-uterine pregnancy can be identified by ultrasound, which is usually about 3-4 weeks after your Last Menstrual Period (LMP). In the first trimester, two options are available: Aspiration is done by a physician in the clinic or the Abortion Pill which you take at home. Do not take any decisions before consulting your gynecologist. Take care.
