There is nothing to be scared if the Otrivin drops was used in your kids by mistake.In Fact Otrivin is used for children even though in smaller concentration.

Yes you surely can use it
but do not use it for more than 10 days maximum.
You can use it twice a day 2 drops in ease nostril.

Otrivin can be harmful if used for long periods.
Get a NCCT PNS done to evaluate the extent and severity of sinusitis.
You may have to use intranasal steroids and anti allergics to get rid of your symptoms

Using otrivin for nasal polyps is the worst thing you could do. Moreover you have done it daily for the past 4 years. Read about rebound congestion due to nasal decngestants and rhinitis medicamentosa. You need a complete sino-nasal evaluation with an allergy testing. As you have no side effects now you try to stop it and check your nose for block. Using levocet m tab will hlep in allergic block this medication provides only temporary relief. Do not use more often, use more sprays, or use longer than directed because doing so may increase the risk of side effects. presently fungal infections are on the rise and it is spreading as an epidemic for past 2 years due to fungal resistance and usuage of topical steroid creams. HI,

Ensure the diet includes small frequent meals every 2-3 hrs to keep sugar levels in control.

Include high fiber foods such as salads (can be cooked a little if cannot eat raw), 1 fruit a day preferably in the morning time, oats, museli, brown rice, jowar, bajra and the likes.

Avoid any kind of processed foods, sweets, biscuits, etc.

Ensure 15-20 mins sunlight exposure daily and a B-complex vitamin post breakfast
