Using otrivin for nasal polyps is the worst thing you could do. Moreover you have done it daily for the past 4 years. Read about rebound congestion due to nasal decngestants and rhinitis medicamentosa. You need a complete sino-nasal evaluation with an allergy testing. As you have no side effects now you try to stop it and check your nose for block. Using levocet m tab will hlep in allergic block this medication provides only temporary relief. Do not use more often, use more sprays, or use longer than directed because doing so may increase the risk of side effects. Do not use this medication for more than 3 to 5 days in a row. Nasal spray: The usual recommended dose for adults is one to three sprays in each nostril every 8 to 10 hours. The head should be tilted slightly forward while using the spray.

Otrivin (or other topical nasal decongestant) is not a very good medicine. I know it gives immediate relief but on long term use it has side effect (rhinitis medicamentosa) leading to persistent nasal obstruction for which it is used.

This appears like Ear drum perforation as a result of cold and middle ear infection. Ear must be kept dry with no liquid entry of any type. Wipe outside with cotton buds. You require aggressive treatment of nose congestion, cold and chronic infection. Once dry Ear drum reconstruction surgery may be considered. See ENT Specialist for the management.

Using nasal sprays for 2 to 3 years is not advisable, If no improvement with sprays , its better to get CT PNS scan. Sinus surgety may help you

Hi. It looks like you have an eustachian tubal block, for which you need to take nasal decongestant medication along with steam inhalation through the nose.
