This happens due to severe dryness. The dried mucus of the nose causes itching. Apply a very small quantity of light moisturizing cream/lotion in the lower part of inside of nose every day, morning evening. Also after a bath blow out all the sticky mucus from the nostrils and wipe the nostrils with a soft tissue. Reapply moisturizer after the bath.
Otrivin is not recommended. If the problem is severe, take steam inhalation for 5 min and blow out the mucus gently. Aplly moisturizer.

Long term use of otrivin causes increase in size of mass in nose known as turbinates, due to which it gets blocked. So don't use it for last time without doctor s prescription. Contact some ent specialist and get examined.

You can use nasoclear drops which contain normal saline rather than otrivin which are medicated with oxymetazoline. Also, you can stop the other drugs. They are not necessary.
