Sevista and novex both contain centchroman, you can take any of the two if taking as a contraceptive you have to take it twice a week for 12 weeks and then once a week.

One of my relatives was prescribed to use novex 30 mg ormeloxifene hydrochloride tablets for her treatment for tissue formation in the breast. However currently that medicine is not available in my locality. Instead, sevista 30 mg tablets are available. Can it be used as an substitute to novex 30 mg tablets in the context of this specific treatment of breast cancer?

If you are planning pregnancy in near future then defer taking this drug. Vit E and Bit B 12 will help you to some extent and not interfere with pregnancy planning.

If there is no fibroadenoma of breast this tablet is not necessary. If you have premenstrual syndrome which we call it is pms you might need other supports like vitamin e on and primrose.

Yes, Because you do not produce eggs while taking those tablets. Better complete the course and tell your gynaecologist that you want to conceive.

The dosage for a grown adult is 60 mg twice a week for the 1st 12 weeks and then 60 mg once a week for up to next 12 weeks. you will not become pregnant while taking the tablet
