Get your blood counts done with esr, if counts are ok, steroid injection in the knee can be given. Could also try changing methotrexate to leflunamide- consult your rheumatologist for the same.

Hello, there are other medications like pregabalin etc which can give you releif from that pain. Taking steroids for a long duration can cause severe side effects, even multi system organ failure. Please consult a local neurologist to address this situation properly.
