It was when that the IPV was missed as the three initial doses are 3 and then booster at 18 months of age. If you have not given a single dose of IPV then continue only OPV.

Choosing a vaccine is your prerogative. We as pediatricians can only suggest. Both vaccines are effective. Advantage you have with pentaxim is that you additionally got polio injection which is not available separately in private.

The child should receive several vaccines like DPT, OPV, IPV, pneumococcal, Rotavirus, Hepatitis B etc. Please see Pediatrician and start the serial vaccinations right away.
